I fell in love with photos when I was a little girl. Every holiday season, my mom would pull out old family albums and tell us the stories—who each person was, how they were connected to us, the threads that wove our family together.

I loved learning about my ancestors, and my Italian heritage. Those stories could only live on because of the photos in her hands. That was just the beginning of my love affair with photos and photography. I learned from a young age how important those memories are and how photos truly are for a lifetime.

I grew up chasing trails in Colorado, waking up to crisp mountain air and skies full of stars. That connection to wild places shaped everything. Even now, in Nebraska we work out of Omaha and in Colorado, we work out of Idaho Springs and travel throughout the state in our R.V.

Over the years, I’ve photographed more than 150 love stories. I’ve spent over a decade doing this work that I love so much. I’ve whispered “This light is perfect” more times than I can count. I’ve climbed rocks, Jeeped trails, hiked at sunrise, danced in the rain, and cried behind the camera more than once during vows that hit straight to the heart.

So when I found photography—and realized I could blend creativity, emotion, and adventure—I knew, this is what I was made for.
